All societies have their unique traditions. Whether it’s the way one would plan a wedding, host a family gathering or choose a career path. Traditions are woven into our lives but they can also be the thing which holds us back.
Here’s a bunch of stuff from conversations with my mind throughout the experience of lockdown that made it into my little journal. I’m sure many will make you laugh and perhaps reassure you that you’re not the only mad one in this world.
Ego is not always your enemy
The classic theme of the Star Wars saga has centred around the light and dark side of the force or the good and bad path. The belief of the central characters within this story is that you cannot embrace your dark side or indulge the emotions that connect with this, otherwise you are certain to be doomed.
The power of the human mind is often underrated.
Many of us conform to believe we only have a set talent potential. One that only allows us to perform in certain scenarios or complete specific tasks. However, as technological innovations continue to evolve, we are finding more and more that the in-ability that many preach they have to learn new skills is not true at all.
It is rather a question of will.
