Does your business understand the real value of its L&D function and do you realise how big an impact your learning offer has on the full talent lifecycle?
In my opinion, L&D has a pivotal role to play in the 3 areas of recruitment/attraction, enabling people to build their skills and behaviours, developing their capability to deliver on business goals and finally retention.
Are these the skills everyone needs in the 21st century?
Over the last 10 years since Apple unveiled the first iPhone to the world, we have experienced major digital disruptions across all industries. It’s like a Pandora’s box of opportunities has been opened and the world has been changing at a breakneck speed ever since.
In the learning industry, I find we always talk about the modern learning philosophies, skills and experiences our people need, but rarely do I see or hear anyone talk about the skills and experience modern learning professionals need to navigate today’s world.
